Meetinghouse Committee attends to the physical and aesthetic needs of our Meetinghouse.
About our committee:
The Meetinghouse Committee assumes responsibility for addressing the physical and aesthetic needs of our Meetinghouse-the maintenance, repair, improvement, and its operation. We monitor the wellbeing of everything from flooring, to the electrical system, heating, cooling, & supplies, inside and outside, so that it’s conducive to silence, activities, and remains in good operating order. Our assumption is that a healthy building helps support a healthy Quaker Meeting.
Why members serve:
“Because the work we do directly supports the functioning and well-being of Milwaukee Friends Meeting and the members of the Committee are like-minded folks.”
